All reels in the series were hand crafted by 1 of 4 master reel makers (this one made by Ian W. Evans). A faithful reproduction of the original Cascapedia. The real features polished ebonite side plates, nickel silver accents, strong adjustable drag and on/off clicker. Strong resistance throughout its range and 1.7:1 multiplying gear. 4.15" diameter with a pillar width of 1.67". A worthy pairing for your favorite 2-handed salmon/steelhead rod. The reel appears unused and packs into the original box with leather case and papers. Included are the original (slightly soiled) white handling gloves
